There is no fixed date of payment for supplemental benefits, as it depends on what the supplemental benefit is intended to cover:

  • Recurring expenses are paid monthly. The benefit is paid as soon as the decision is granted.
  • One-off expenses are paid as soon as the decision is granted and the date of the expense has passed.
  • Daily travel benefits with a personal vehicle are paid as soon as NAV has processed and approved your travel report.

The money will normally be in your account approx. 2–3 business days after the supplemental benefit payment is made.

Holiday pay does not accumulate for supplemental benefits, and no tax is withheld.
