Youth Guarantee
The Youth Guarantee applies to people aged 16 to 30 who need help from Nav to find work or complete their education.
What is the Youth Guarantee?
The Youth Guarantee means you will be offered a dedicated contact person at Nav who will provide personalised support and guidance based on your needs. You may be offered:
- Help with applying for jobs and connecting with employers
- Completing subjects from upper secondary school (high school)
- Assessment of education options and need for additional work qualification
- Guidance and advice on managing your finances
- Support in coordinating with child welfare services, health services, education, or other relevant agencies
- Workplace adjustments in cooperation with your employer
Who is the Youth Guarantee for?
The Youth Guarantee applies to people aged 16 to 30 who Nav has assessed as needing help to find work or complete education.
To find out if you qualify for the Youth Guarantee, you must first register as a job seeker. Then we can assess your needs together and decide what kind of support you require.
Are you under 18?
If you are under 18 and want to receive personalised support and guidance through the Youth Guarantee, you must have consent from your parents or guardians (in Norwegian).
