Recruitment — For employers
Recruiting from the EU, EEA and Switzerland
Are you having trouble meeting your recruitment needs? Nav can help you recruit workers from the EU/EEA countries and Switzerland through the EURES cooperation.
Begin using the EURES portal
The EURES portal is a useful tool for those seeking new candidates from the EU/EEA or Switzerland.
On the EURES portal, you can
- Find candidates by creating a personal account with the option to search the CV database
- Achieve better visibility for your listing by “flagging” it, indicating that you are especially interested in recruiting workers from other European countries. This is an option you can choose to activate when you list a vacancy at arbeidsplassen.no.
- Get advice and tips about recruiting candidates from other EU/EEA countries and Switzerland.
- Register for events. The job fairs are held all across Europe by EURES member organisations in the host country. There are also digital recruitment events on europeanjobdays.eu.

Brief information about the EURES cooperation network
European Employment Services (EURES) was established on initiative from the European Commission in 1993 to support free movement of labour in the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
The main goal of EURES is to make it easier for employers to recruit the labour they need and easier for workers to find a new job in the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
EURES offers its services through the EURES portal and a network of member organisations, who are in daily contact with job seekers and employers all across Europe.
We want your feedback!
