Get user support for the Aa register
Actors who have gained access to services from the Aa register, or actors who want access to or have questions about the Aa register, can contact Nav through the service User support for the Aa register's distribution solutions.
Requirements for actors who have gained access to the Aa register
The service requires that you have been granted delegated rights by your employer, see the chapter Altinn rights and delegation.
To gain access to the Aa register, you must approve Nav's terms of use for the service. Here, among other things, they are required to
- use this service when contacting Nav
- subscribe to updates from Nav to receive important news and changes in the service

If you cannot find answers to your questions, you can contact user support if you
- have questions about applying for access to the Aa register
- have professional, functional and technical questions about the Aa register and the distribution solutions
- will notify of errors or security breaches
- will report change requests
Tips about incorrect or missing information in the register
If you see incorrect or missing information in the register, we would like you to inform us about this through Nav’s support solution.

Examples of what can be reported:
- Incorrect or missing start and/or end date
- Employment not reported but should have been
- Suspicion of fictitious employment
- Missing or incorrect reporting of leave/layoff
- Incorrect percentage of employment
- Missing income reporting, but employment is reported
A good tip about possible incorrect or missing information in the Aa-register must include:
- Name and birth and personal number of the person concerned
- Who is the employer (organization number)
- Date when the issue was discovered
- Background for the tip
- All documentation/info that supports the basis for the tip that you are allowed to share
- Information about whether there is an employment contract, timesheets?
- Other information indicating that the person works there
- Assessment of how likely it is that there is a real employment relationship
- Have you provided any information to the employer? What?
Altinn right and delegation
Once you have been granted access, you must approve Nav's terms of use for the service (pdf). Among other things, it is a requirement that users contact Nav through the service.
Users of the register must also subscribe to updates from Nav to receive important news and updates about the service. See description of how to subscribe to notifications from Nav (Github).
How to log in
To be able to log in to the service, you must have the Altinn right "Nav's user support for the Aa register's distribution solutions".
Holders of the following roles in Enhetsregisteret have this right:
- Managing ship owner
- Managing Director / Managing Director
- Participant with shared responsibility
- Participant with full responsibility
- Complementary
- Norwegian representative for a foreign entity
- Chairman
The licensee can delegate the right to others who will be able to look up the Aa register. See how to delegate rights (Altinn).
To log in to the service, you must use the ID-port with security level 4.
