Reimbursement claim for care benefit
You use the reimbursement claim form to apply for reimbursement of wages paid in connection with care benefit days (staying home with a sick child).
You apply for reimbursement retrospectively. You cannot apply for reimbursement in advance. The deadline for submitting a reimbursement claim is three months from the date of payment.
- Send digitally at nav.noThis is a new form that Nav has developed, where you submit your refund claim from nav.no. You will be asked to log in.
- Send digitally via AltinnIf you have not paid wages for care benefit days and the employee is applying for payment directly from Nav, you must submit the income report via your payroll and HR system or through Altinn. You will be asked to log in.
