Find a new job abroad
NAV’s vacancy database includes many foreign job listings. The easiest way to find these is to search for job listings in EU/EEA countries. Many of the job listings are in English.
The European Job Mobility Portal is a great way to find jobs in other EU/EEA countries and Switzerland. You can also register your CV and make it available to foreign employers.
More tips and advice on working abroad are found here (text in Norwegian).
You may stay in another EU/EEA country for up to six months without having to apply for a residence permit. If you want to travel to an EU/EEA country to find work, it is important that you prepare well.
We can advise you on working and living conditions in the countries that interest you. We can also advise you in the job seeking process.
You can also sign up for recruitment fairs. Please go to the events calendar on the European job mobility portal for a list of all recruitment fairs held in the EU, EEA and Switzerland, and to European Job Days for a list of online job fairs.
