Contacting NAV about the coronavirus COVID-19

NAV is currently also affected by the outbreak of the coronavirus.

We recommend you reach out in writing.

If your request is not urgent, please do not reach out immediately, as we must prioritise requests from those directly affected.

If you are registered as a jobseeker at NAV you can contact your caseworker through the activity plan.

If you have questions about your case, such as unemployment benefit or sickness benefit then you can write us a message using the service Skriv til oss.

Contact by phone

You can reach us by phone if your need is urgent or if you do not receive an answer in our written communication channels. The wait time may be longer than expected, so please be patient.

Meeting in person

NAV offices are affected by the outbreak of coronavirus. We will attempt to answer all those attempting to reach out, and we recommend you reach your caseworker via the activity plan.

If you do not have the opportunity to use digital services you can book an appointment about applications for emergency assistance, economic support and help to apply for sickness benefit, unemployment benefit after a layoff or other critical situations.

Appointments regarding following up or other cases mentioned above can be cancelled. In that case you will be informed by SMS, Ditt NAV or by telephone. You will still receive payments from NAV even if your appointment is cancelled or postponed.
