Permanent adapted work can be offered to those who need to work in a sheltered workshop with tasks adapted to their work capabilities. Permanent adapted work can also be offered as individual placements in regular companies.
Who can get permanent adapted work?
If you have been, or shortly expect to be, granted a disability pension and need special adaptations and supervision, you may be eligible for permanent adapted work.

You are an employee in accordance with the Working Environment Act, and the employment must be based on a contract.
Duration of the measure
This measure has no time limit. Nevertheless, a regular evaluation must be made of whether you should be transferred to other employment schemes, education or to work in the regular labour market.

Benefits while participating in the employment measure
You will receive a disability pension in accordance with the National Insurance Act. If you expect to be granted a disability pension, you will keep the benefits you currently receive until the disability pension has been granted.
